Default we have a debt deal - or do we?

The president says it is so. A deal is done. This should be cause for much celebration in the kingdom of DC. Except it is not.

Everyone seems bent out of shape. A GOP senator threatens a filibuster. A Dem is encouraging a march upon the White House. Romney hates the deal. And just what is a "Satan Sandwich"?

OMG - if everyone is unhappy it may be a good compromise.

And in unrelated news...the Feds may have a lead on DB Cooper.

I knew putting that line in was a mistake.

I don't really think gay guys doing it is a Satan sandwich. I just hate Matt's sanctimonious BS and I couldn't think of anything realting to scarves. I shold've just called him a snobby ******* and been done with it.

I like the D.B. Cooper story, just for the distraction.

It's going to either die or get severely mauled in the House.

With divided government, the best you can hope for is something nobody really likes, but enough members of Congress will vote for (and the President will sign).

It won't be until the vote is taken and the President signs it. Remember, this needs 60 votes in the Senate.

There are some similarities. Both have a hijacking. Both have a bailout. Neither will be solved soon.
