Default NFL time!

Just thought somebody should say something about the return of the greatest game on Earth!

Who cares about the impending mayhem in Washington. We've got football!

I kept thinking the same thing but never pulled the trigger. Thanks.

A couple of observations to get us started:

I still don't understand Arizona's fascination with Kolb, but I hope it works out for them. I've always had a soft spot for anything the City of Phoenix.

Belechick and Andy Reid seem to be doing the most relative tinkering. Why is it all the NFL flash has come from out East the past few years? Hell, even Al Davis as been quiet which OK, yeah, is a good thing.

Yes, Aaron Rogers is awfully damned good ... but shouldn't Tom Brady STILL be the first QB taken in your FF draft? Always.

I don't think there's ever been a team with a third-down quarterback. We might see that this year in Denver (Tebow).

Does anyone understand what Jerry Jones is doing?

Sure. He's looking in the mirror, telling himself how wonderful and powerful he is, then firing any non-toadies he can find.

I like the NFL but certainly am no expert. But in my semi-informed opinion, the Eagles are the team to beat this season.

Of course, this is the NFL we're talking about. ANYTHING can happen!

For Redskins fans, that's synonymous.

Regarding Kolb....he was the best QB available.....and in order to resign Fitzgerald, they had to get a quality QB.

Fitzgerald is happy...

As for fantasy QB, I would take Vick before anyone else because of the rushing dimension he has.

I have to root for Ochocinco now? Well, I guess I learned to tolerate Randy Moss, so...

Sorry ... as I think you'll see when the season plays out, Kyle Orton was best quarterback available.

I had him last year. He did good. But I'm not about to tempt fate that he can go two consecutive seasons without getting one of his legs broken, or his head handed to him in a peach basket.

Ochocinco (might be the greatest name change in the history of sports) is one of those rare birds who (in my opinion) knew were the line was and seldom crossed it. Different than Owens, perhaps. He will help your team, Jane.
