Default Tequila drinks

Just got back from Mexican cruise. While there I bought a bottle of tequila. Does anyone have a good recipe that isn't a margarita or tequila sunrise? Margaritas are a pain and there's too much sugar in orange juice.

Yes. It's very complicated so pay attention.

Pour tequila into shotglass.
Consume.
Chase with favorite beer.
Repeat as necessary.

I'm not trying to get drunk, I just want to enjoy a drink tonight while the wife and I watch a movie.

Gin and Tonic

-Pour Top shelf gin in glass
-Add tonic
-squeeze lime

-Put bottle of Tequila in garbage, or dark rear corner of cabinet, forget.

That is just not very helpful at all.

I got some amaretto and 7-up and mixed it with the tequila.
I also marinated my sausage in tequila.

Pour 3 oz of Tequila.....oopsss....

Get broom and dustpan to clean glass from off the floor...

Ambrosia.
Thanks for the advice, Desert Rat. I had already tried searching tequila drinks but, since I'm not much of a drinker, the recipes themselves didn't make much sense to me. I thought some personal recommendations might work better.

What about the Cowboys Playoff Dream? Two oz of tequila with a splash of water, except that instead of adding water, you just cry into the glass.

Phillipe, the gardener suggest:

"El Pinot Grande Snoozle"
"Brain Killer"

How to Make a Brain Pain Killer

Pour vodka, Jose Cuervo gold tequila, mezcal and creme de bananes into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Brain Pain Killer Ingredients
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Tequila
1 oz Mezcal
1 oz Creme de Bananes

Yeah, the Giants went a lot farther in the playoffs last year, didn't they? Eli Manning should ask Flock of Seagulls about what it's like being a one-hit wonder.

Go to liquor store, buy a bottle of premixed margaritas. Take home, add tequila and ice and drink.

If THAT's too complicated, I worry about your ability to turn on the DVD player so you and Mrs. Rugen can watch "Freaky Friday"

Buy 100% blue agave tequila - anejo. Pour into glass. Enjoy.

How did you leave Mexico with contraband? You must have come through the hole in the fence to avoid Customs. They wouldn't even let me bring back some "vanilla" a few years ago. I even declared it and the still took it.

Yep. One hit. A flash in the pan. Eli will never again taste victory, while Tony's best years are still ahead of him.

Well honestly, they were doing you a favor. You could get your ass kicked these days just for being seen in public with a Vanilla Ice CD.
