I remember watching him play in the NBA. I got to the game early & was watching him during the pre-game shoot around. I'll never forget the two groupies behind me chuckling as they discussed just how big he actually measured.

Don't forget his brief professional hockey career long after he retired from the NBA.

Watching Manute Bol hit three pointers was something to behold. Good basketball player who was able to survive the NBA for several years, but an even better humanitarian.

Here is an interesting "fact" about the big guy. He was the first to use and popularize the phrase "My bad." Although the NYT wrote a collumn today refuting it, here is a link.
