Default Georgraphy FAIL


One of our own made the failblog!

Anyone know the station?
I thought that was a movie under with the labels not navigated..... but the hand drawn warnings are in the correct place. Always good to click through your shows

I am waiting for ST_Tony to chime in on the location of the real Cuba in relation to something else!

Yeah, that's Central Florida News 13. Looks like he changed to another basemap without changing the label layer. Oops!

At first I thought that's what the fail was for... his unfortunate position in relation to Cuba. Why do our graphics always end up dirty?

They don't...It's just our minds that are dirty to the point that we can make a dirty image out of almost anything

He looks p.o'd too, I'm sure he had to notice it once it came up. Here's a question, do mention it or just let it go? I would probably say something and make light of it.

I say mention it...I know a lot say that you should rush past mistakes and try not to draw attention to it...but when it's something THAT obvious, you're going to look like a fool if you don't achknowledge that you know it's a mistake...I would be like "Cuba? How did that get there? Nevermind that, something got a little off-centered on that map, but this outline of the warning is correct from LA over to the panhandle of FL."
