My vote for creepy goes to the Heineken keg-bot.

I have to look away as soon as I know it's the Burger King thing -- but the fembot keg-girl is pretty creepy (and misogynist as well?).

Speaking of the soundtrack from teh Heineken ad, have you noticed some car ad (Lincoln?) now has a similar soundtrack which is equally annoying and difficult to decipher?

Willies is a strange expression.

Anyone have papers?

Saw it the other night. It is creepy -- but because no one is recognizable, they don't have to pay residuals.

No one creeps me out more than the "It's the Mirrors" girl. I dunno why...just something about the way she says the line...it's more like "It's the Mirrors...and I'm coming for your SOUL"

I don't "get" the ad and I really didn't get what he said either. I just thought it was funny.

honestly, ever since I saw this Symbicort commercial, I've thought it looks absolutely terrible. I really do think that what happened is that a major mistake or miscommunication occured during the making of it, and when it was finally finished it was too late to correct and they had to go with it. I just can't believe that they would willingly go with such a bad-looking commercial. If true, the exec who green-lighted it should be fired.

It's not creepy, but it's certainly the lamest and least informative ad campaign out there.

And it's on almost as much as Toyota's "Saved by Zero."

Not as bad as ripping his nose off because some gals have no chocolate on their ice cream cone. Talk about whipped .

I was talking to a college prof the other day about the future of tv and especially commercials (thats his area of expertise) and he tells me that they think that 10 years from now, nearly all subjects in tv commercials will be animated or computer generated in some fashion so that they can use it over and over again without paying for an actor to play the subject. This could all be the beginning of that trend.

Dang it, there goes my chance to replace smilling Bob in the enzyte commercials!

That commercial is one of the most disturbing commercials ever.

If him and the BK King ever got together... Lord help us all.

In the 80's, there was a movie called "Looker," starring Susan Dey and directed by Michael Crichton. The subject was exactly that: using computer-generated models for commercial acting, in order to have PERFECT acting every time.

The one I can't stand to watch is the one where they have used some sort of filter or CG effect to make the person talking look cartoon-ish.
It is a financial commercial..but I never watch the whole thing so I don't know what company it is promoting (otherwise I'd find a screen shot of it)

Creepy!
