Maybe you're talking about the main female anchor at the ABC station? She is going back to the 11pm show with her long time co-anchor.
Things like this tend to happen when your 11pm numbers are lower than a competing stations' 10pm show. The woman who was co-anchoring the 11pm on KOMO is moving to the 4pm newscast so she can beat by Oprah in that time slot. Seriously, they just want to give here more time to polish skills... at least that's what I read. Funny, it used to be that anchors were already "polished" before they came to market 14... Guess that's teevee nowadays.
