I don't need beans to create a bad bean episode. I have episodes frequently no matter what I eat.

What do you put on your plate at the salad bar?

What is your favorite type of bean?

Black bean when it's in a Chipotle burrito. Yum!

( if your crockpot meals come out as gelatinous goo you're doing it wrong. (that's what she said) For us workin' moms the crockpot is a lifesaver)

We interrupt to point out that I am eating a delicious Crockpot stew made by Mrs. s'news. We return you now to your regularly scheduled thread.

More so than I thought. The last three weeks I have been thrown way outside of my routines and I would like to get back to the comfort of them.

What is your favorite "comfort" food?

Sure. Chocolate covered-coffee beans. Not bad. Come to think, they were probably roasted, so, no...

Ever gone wine-tasting? If so, where?

No, not yet. Not a big fan of wine, but I figure I must be missing out on something!

Worst amusement park ride experience...?

I would like to say my phone or purse...but there have been times I have gotten to where I'm going and realized those things aren't with me. I always seem to have my sunglasses though.

Why a movie theater packed with kids? Why?

Just like the nutcase in Norway and all the rest, there's never any explanation that makes sense.

Did you give your kids that extra hug yet today?

Not much. It's been fun to track my son's travels, though.

Thank God Dyck isn't here anymore. The answer to THAT one would leave us all agape. I look at the sale stuff first.

Favorite place to get sale items?

Not yet, although I seem to have the fever for the flavor of a Pringles.

Favorite crunchy snack food?

Mixed nuts, although I almost never eat them.

Do you prefer the summer games or the winter games?

Winter, because I love to watch skiing. But I'll be watching a goodly amount of these summer games.

If you were to possibly take part in an Olympic sport, what would it be? (I'd be running the marathon, or at least a much younger me would be doing that.)

Moguls or inverted aerials

What one Olympic event would you never want to do?

Ali lighting the torch. Had totally forgotten that it was on, flipped over... and sat in awe watching it.

The other most exciting Olympic moments are women's beach volleyball. God life is good.

The toilet paper: Does it roll OVER or UNDER? Explain WHY.

Over. For no reason other than that's the way my parents did it. It's what I got used to.

Does it bug you when someone hangs the roll in the opposite direction?
