Default Climate Change & Greenhouse gases will kill us all!

I'm really getting sick of the National Media's coverage on Climate Change. Tonight, I just saw a story that blamed the sole reason why the forest fires in Colorado are so bad is due to an increase in man-made green house gases in the atmosphere. While this may play a factor into conditions that play a role into hot, dry conditions, I find it laughable as spending 2 minutes of a national newscast on a story proclaiming green house gases are the reason why forest fires in Colorado are so bad this year. Especially when the homes they show in story haven't done a single thing of forest fire prevention. For example, clearing a brush line from a home as a means to creating a fire prevention barrier. Also, if someone builds a dream home in an area prone to forest fires & then takes no actions in the realm of fire prevention, is it any surprise the extra fuel man has provided causes more loss to man? If news wants to cover the man-made impact on forest fires, why not report the impact of man building where we shouldn't.

I saw a similar type story on beach erosion a few weeks ago where the media said an increase in green house gases is causing beach erosion to destroying our sandy beaches. Really? I thought beaches where non- permanent, always changing barriers between the ocean & land since pretty much the dawn of time. Guess it's easier to broad brush the beach erosion issues in big cities with the man made greenhouse gas climate change brush than to actually report man is over-populating & moving to areas that were never meant to support the type of infrastructure we are building on our nation's shoreline.

Your thoughts?

Well I don't know about all that climate change hoo-ha but I do know that there have been some green gasses let loose in my house from time to time that I'm reasonably sure were flammable.

If you shoved a turbine up there you'd have an "alternative energy source".

It's funny how the gas kills everything, yet in a liquid or solid it makes things greener.

You do realize the effort to post on WxLine does require some expenditure of generated heat and potential gas. Thank God I would never............... oops.

I would like to inform everyone that I gassed your sister's greenhouse last night, if you know what I mean.

Apparently the entire planet resides in the Untied States. With such a stagnant setup over the US, I have to assume its colder than average some where else?

Looks like one place is, Globally? No idea....http://iceagenow.info/2012/07/britai...s-record-lows/
