New York'rr: The most awesome part of your response is that you seem to have missed the part where Justice Roberts changed his mind. Informed, intelligent people have always recognized that it was entirely possible to do that. But I guess you wouldn't be able to understand that, being unable apparently to form an opinion without first hearing it conservative talk radio.

Still waiting for that logical argument, by the way.

When I said, "If it ruled today, ObamaCare would be toast", that was 100% correct, then, wasn't it?

But they didn't rule until last Thursday, after Roberts changed his vote, and now it will require an election to insure that ObamaCare is toast.

Either way, you are only succeeding in calling attention to yet another one of my predictions and statements proving true, the day after you sneered about it and thus making you look foolish. It's becoming a regular thing.

No, you're the one looking foolish, and it's becoming an 'always' thing.

Your argument was that the only way the 'clearly unconstitutional' ACA was going to survive was if the President stacked the court with unqualified, liberal Justices.

My 'sneering' was your belief that no true Conservative Justice would ever let the law stand, because it was 'obviously unconstitutional'. And because you made up your mind (or your talk show buddies did for you), you made it up for Chief Justice Roberts too because that's how the hive mind works.

And that's why I suspect you and the new crop of independent conservatives were collectively teaing your pants last Thursday.

Changing your mind isn't always a sign of weakness. Sometimes, it's a sign of sentience.

That later you attempt to claim "But... but... but.... I was just talking about the timeperiod of the vote, not the law's relative legal merits!" is just plain sad.

You are a big box of fail, with a coupon reedemable for another, smaller-minded box of fail.

Well, I think we're supposed to blame someone for having the boot on something to do something else, I think.

I think you have to wait for Michele Bachmann to be president or something.

Still $2.94 yesterday and today. I wonder if I'm living in some alternate universe where Rod Serling's in charge.

I have a really hard time understanding what the big deal is with these price changes.

a 10cent price hike means that if you purchase 25 gallons of gas, you've spent an extra $2.50.

Oh noes.

The price has been fluctuating in 5-15 cents bursts for like 6 years now. You know what would be worthy of news coverage and panic?

$2.89 => $9.21.

That's a BFD.

I think she's still angry about the price, though, because I saw her narrowing her eyes.

I never said anything about newworthiness... just liked it better when the price was dropping. You got something against saving a few bucks?

And you are wrong yourself, New York'rr. That change happened last year.

Carry on.

Gas prices in my neck of the woods have climber about $.10 in the past week or so... I was not surprised as expert told us to expect it to climb about 25 cents last week after a spike in crude. As usual the experts aren't perfect.

Prices I saw today driving into work. All within 2 miles of each other:

$3.19 / $3.25 / $3.35 - all for regular. Last week everywhere was around $3.18.
