I don't. People like Obie aren't worth the effort to try to be nice to.

Obie's the typical ignorant conservate ass you see at teabag events. The bottom line is that people like Obie ARE the problem. I think the last 8 years speak volumes to what that sort of leadership has given us, and the idea that we're all idiots for noticing the obvious tells me exactly what kind of person we're dealing with here. So rather than explain that ad nauseum (which gets us nowhere) I just call him a jackass and move on (which also gets us nowhere but takes alot less time and effort).
