Default Desperate Dems, led by Pelosi,Reid, and Obama, are BACKFIRING towards a 2010 bloodbath.

It's difficult to decide which issue is the biggest backfiring screw-up of the Pelosi/Reid/Obama regime. Taxing the Very Air We Breathe, or Government-Run Healthcare Rationing? Then, of course there is the totally unsustainable amount of borrowing and spending and government bailouts, takeovers, and similar failed Clunker Programs. Unemployment is going into the double-digits while the Chief Economists do nothing but make up BS to try to sweep the obvious facts under the rug.

Yes, it is clear to see that they are backfiring their way towards a bloodbath in November 2010. The ACORN President has pressed on with his insistence that the Congressional representatives of the Al Franken Party get their necks fitted for giant millstones, which will drag them down to defeat, and they have let him know what a disaster he is foisting upon them, but he doesn't listen. He just doesn't seem aware of reality. Or care.

I have previously placed threads here which have addressed the giant millstones Obama has fastened around the necks of the Desperate Dems such as Gays in the Military and Attacks on Traditional Marriage (Defeated yet again in the state of Maine of all places just this week), Taxing the Very Air We Breathe (the October snowstorms didn't help one bit in pushing the Global Warming Hoax, and over in Europe they are grumbling loudly), Government-Run Healthcare Rationing, Amnesty for Illegal Aliens, Destruction of the Secret Ballot to Allow Unions to Take Over All Companies ("Card-Check"), and government by Unelected Czars who always seem to turn out to have serious deficiencies which the White House has chosen to ignore or attempt to conceal.

Add to that the ACORN President's fumbling, bumbling approach to the very serious situation in Afghanistan and it's no surprise that his approval rating has fallen below 50% while his negatives have shot through the roof.

So, rather than manage several threads about the giant millstones which the ACORN President, the idiot Madame Speaker and the doomed Senate Majority Leader have hung around the necks of their fellow Desperate Dems, this thread will be the single unified thread for the inevitable bloodbath which will occur if the Al Franken Party keeps going the way they are going. I thought it would be the considerate thing to do, rather than clutter up the place with ten different threads which address the multitude of disastrous policies which the Desperate Dems are pursuing on their way to getting their rearends handed to them in November 2010. There are just so many of them, and the number continues to grow.

Right now, the issue at hand is of course the Pelosi bill to force Government-Run Healthcare Rationing upon the people. And WOW, is that plan unpopular. Yet, she still plans to hold a vote on it this weekend! The "Blue Dog" Democrats who won seats in conservative districts are well aware that this would be a disaster for them. Many of them have probably already secured Pelosi's blessing to vote against it, just like she granted indulgences to them when the Nostrilitus-Mackey Cap and Tax bill squeaked by the House by barely 9 votes.

Will the old bag get the votes she seeks? Or will the day of reckoning be postponed yet again?

Most liberals I know really wouldn't mind Pelosi losing her seat.

I agree, my liberal friends have no defense for her either, and actually can't stand the way she operates. But she's from San Francisco and isn't going anywhere.

Reminds me of my own congressman. He's in a safe district and plays up to his base. Though he's really shallow and basicly useless.

Well, my parents are in a Congressional district which was Republican for about 100 years or so, until the 2006 elections when a Democrat managed to pull out a victory which he repeated in 2008. He is a great example of somebody who needs to get a free pass from Madame Speaker to vote against her whenever it can be permitted.

Is there actually anyone who likes Pelosi? I mean really... I thought I saw a poll a few weeks ago that her approval rating is something like under 20%...

Maybe he should have read a book instead?

As for Teabagg'rr's post, indeed let's watch and see what happens in 2010. If it's anything like the predictions we were promised would happen if Obama was elected, then Reid and Pelosi have got nothing to worry about. Teabagg'rrs predictions are about as reliable as a cheap chinese Rolex knockoff.

Mr deer in headlights was in front of cameras when he was informed and coninued to sit like a deer in headlights. Bama had time to prepare remarks and could easily have said "before we get started today...." He chose not to do so.

On what date do we no longer look back? I don't recall hearing too much it was Carter's fault. For 8 years I had to listen how it was Reagan/Bush's fault. Then 8 years of it was Clinton's fault, do I now have to hear 4 to 8 years of it was Bush's fault?

And this is the main thing that turns me off to so many liberals: personal attacks. Why do you even feel the need to call the OP "Teabaggrr"? Why are so many liberals so insecure that they must resort to personal attacks first? It's lame. And you're lame, dude. It's not the news that's broken; it's you.

I used to use that term until I realized that I was guilty of doing what I accused those on the right of doing. So I no longer use that term and would prefer if others didn't as well. IMO, they should be referred to as "Tea Party members" or "Tea Partiers".

Hell, I don't care what you call them. Personally, I think right wingnuts are as crazy, unstable, and dangerous as left wingnuts. But when you start interjecting personal attacks into a debate, no one gets anywhere.

Sure, I might refer to the group as a whole as nuts, but if I got into a debate with someone from either side, I'd leave out any personal attacks. Once one attack is made, it escalates and the debate has lost any cognitive value. That's the problem with politics in our country: everyday people are taking this **** too personally. Fact is all politicians are hypocrites and should not be trusted. I don't care if they're promising hope and change or Contracts with Whoever; don't trust them.

Thanks "dude", I'll be sure to lay awake tonight worrying about the fact that you think I'm "lame".
