I'm wanting to apply for a reporting job at WFMZ in Allentown, PA. Anyone have any informataion about the station. I know they're independent, but are they competitive with affiliates in the market?
Any and all information about WFMZ is appreciated.

They mostly focus on the northern area of the Philly DMA (The Lehigh Valley/Berks County area). Out of the counties they focus on they are #1 in viewers compared to their closest competition. They have a deal with WPVI in Philly where they share footage and office space. They have two bureaus in addition to the main studio, news is HD. Reporters are young and usually only stay a few years before moving on to bigger stations. Main anchors however have been there 22 and 13 years respectfully.
