Very, very hard and wondering if I should send my paper-labeled demo reel to this new station.

Nah, I will save that $1.39 postage for someplace else. LOL!

Lolz, that's the most worthless broadcast I've ever witnessed in the history of television (save for some of the unnamed people I'm not allowed to pick on anymore). Why was the anchor waving at the camera after the (super long) nat open? Why doesn't she have a teleprompter? Why are they using a chromakey set? Feel 18 Again? I'd love to feel UP someone who's 18 again! Amiritepeople??!?

You all are missing the point. It's not just crap. It's crap in HD!

Today's pointless hand waving is sponsored by Charles Chitwood of State Farm Insurance. Call today for all your insurance needs, and we'll give you Chit.

So, since they don't have a teleprompter, do they have closed captioning?

It's obvious she was waving to get the director to cut out of the cold open. Notice their link to the "on air" personalities has two people?

In all fairness.....growing pains.
Heck, my first station was known for being "Worst On Air Yet".....and it's been running for sometime.
But I will say this....reading from script(literally) takes practice to look comfortable. THAT anchor needs to practice reading from paper.....it's too distracting as is.

Clearly what this station needs to succeed is the Rosenblum VJ model.

I think creating this thread gave them the ratings boost they needed! Up to 50 web hits this week!

Are those unique hits or counting returning visitors?

The sad part of all this is that the GM will view those increased page hits as a sign of success. ;)

Did everybody vote in the poll on how they heard about the station?

There's a poll? I didn't stay on the site long enough to notice, out of fear that the suckiness of it would seep out of my monitor and into my brain.

Wow that stinks on ice.

"The legendary pop sinker?" Shouldn't that be in the sports segment?

I made it all the way up to " Let's take a look at your Accuweather Forecast." That's all I could take.

There are 140 votes registered.
I picked 'online'.....because I was blessed with the knowledge of such a site via Medialine.
