I saw that half of the on-air team at the Deuce, Kent Bates and Greg Kerr, are out as of May 31st. What's the scoop as to why? New News Director already making wholesale changes? Read contract non-renewal...that true? Interesting how it's tougher to keep main anchors there the last decade or so. Sad IMHO. Thanks for the future insight.

My guess is that they are salary dumping. Something that you'll see more often in the future.

Sandra Hughes has announced her "retirement" as well. Doing only the 6:00 show for the rest of 2009. Then coming back for special events in 2010. Solo anchor with limited experience now doing the 11:00.

Yes. From what I understand, there's a lot of unhappy folks at the deuce.
