I love how the boss is shocked (http://www.projo.com/news/content/ANCHORMAN_QUITS_05-14-09_LHECBLT_v6.37019b8.html).
good to see the shoe on the other foot.
I'm sure for all the people laid off recently, that was also "rather unexpected."

14 years on the job, 5 markets... ending in Providence, a top 50.
Boston, Los Angeles, Virginia and Seattle before coming to Providence in January 2008Isn't that a lot of moving in the top cities? Anyone ever work with this guy?

It isn't if he was working his way through the ranks to an anchor spot. Besides, 5 markets isn't a big number at all for 14 years.

Is this a joke?

Paul Mueller, news anchor at Channel 6, has quit, WLNE-TV announced Wednesday. His lawyer, Rick Carr, said Mueller wants to become an online day trader.

I'm ASSUMING they listed the markets in the order he hit them. Boston, Los Angeles, Virginia, Seattle, THEN Providence?

How much do people move among Top 50 markets?
