I just want to know what others in the business thought about this promo?

I was really shocked that this was an actual promo. I saw it last night and we were taking about it at work. Its just the most blatant declaration of Obama love there is. The latest one has a clip of Obama's speech in there. They basically linked him to JFK. I couldn't find that promo.
Fox News is disliked by a lot of journalists for reasons such as this. I know MSNBC leans left but they've just about toppled over for that side. I hope that CNN atleast tries to stay balanced.

Sorry, I don't see the "Obama love" to which you refer in this spot. If this were a pro-Obama promo, why do I see McCain's image? In fact, this spot looks and sounds a bit dated, as if it was produced prior to Election Day.
Indeed MSNBC's promo takes advantage of the mood of "change" in America, but that's a mood that swept Election Day--change from Bush, change to McCain or Obama, "change" was a popular word for the campaign, just as "new" is a fantastic word to advertisers.
I'll agree that MSNBC's prime time shows tend to lean left; that Fox News "shows" lean right, but I don't see any blatant pro-Obama feel in this particular promo.

Before the Election, MSNBC had a pretty good promo that put over both 2-Party candidates as agents of change. So it's pretty safe to say that they had a promo ready to go for both candidates and since Obama won, that's the one we get.

Hi Oth, A lot of People can't see what is in front of their eyes, but it is a FACT that CNBC is Obama's Beoch!
Like the other Person, I was shocked and very few in the media shock me. They are sooooo incredibly biased, and in a "Free Country"?
FYI, Fox was the 5th Large TV News Network. The big 3 had their way for years and censored anyone that would hurt their sponsorship etc. They were all Atheistic Run (Walter Cronic Liberal, their Hero) and then CNN came along. Just what a free country needed, yet another left wing News Group!
Do you know the diff. btw "Fare and Balanced" and showing "we are for change and showing Obama" as their Role Model?
If you don't see it, then you wouldn't see an Donkey in bed with you! <s>
The fact that you aren't saying "Yes that is odd", but in denial about something soooo obvious speaks volumes.
Fox is much more apt to have both sides presented. I can give you the web sight to a u tube debate btw O'Rilley and Mahar, where B.M. trys to paint Dems as Faultless Caring People who almos never lie! B.O. (Bill not Obama) otoh asked him "don't all politicians look out for their own selfs, etd. Oh no, according to B.M. only the Repub. are bad. Nothing short of amazing! Thanks for the reply though

Don't you know the left can cry about somebody else's bias but is totally okay with their own.

Everybody's okay with their own bias. ;)

Actually, it's the first time that I've seen such a commercial on MSNBC. So it could very well been, I hadn't seen the others so I could only judge what I saw. But calling your network the network of change is still a slippery slope.
What happened to good skeptical journalism. Now we're too busy yelling, give everyone a chance.

It's all part of the entertainment and without it, people would have to work harder to achieve their outrage.

if i remember correctly...
McCain & Palin... were also claiming that they were agents of "change".
MSNBC has some obvious bias... but this promo isn't a strong example.
