Musta been a slow night in M-SP ...

http://wcco.com/video?id=50113@wcco.dayport.com

A competitor's reporter apparently rear-ends someone while DUI ... and you'd think the other driver was pulled out of the burning wreckage. What's even more laughable is the wallpaper video they throw in there to make it look like this horrendous accident.

Sounds like they dipped into the old sound effects library too.
Solid journalism there.

Wow, a DUI with no injuries, and it's a wrapround pkg?

I laughed out loud at the shot at the end where the photog ran the camera into the car.

Otherwise, what a load of crap.

Clearly this is a BS story coming out of what appears to be an amateurish station.

What upsets me most is their blatant use of the CBS eye as we waited for this piece of crap to load.

Why? They're a CBS O&O - every bit as much a part of CBS as you are.

Hardly.

True.

That story, sad as it was, was actually seen by people.

What's the clearance rate on your little show? 35%?

Looks like the station airing the report on the other station has an axe to grind with someone at that station. They didn't use the CCTV video that I obtained .Should I sell it to them? They sure talk funny up there in Minneapolis.

My audience is a little more *worldly* than a tiny little dot in Minnesota.
