Anyone here work in California?
Was wondering if non-compete clauses are enforceable there? If not, why the hell are stations putting them in their contracts?
Thanks.

Call the AFTRA office in LA and ask them. They're the ones doing the heavy lifting on non competes...non competes have been banned in a bunch of states, but don't know about California.
