In the past we have been restricted to "outside only" shots. The reasoning was that our reporting might sway last minute voters within earshot of a monitor or the reporter. Does your State, or local government require the same?

Our local polls here have never given us any problem except when we wanted to interview a couple of people who had just voted. I think they were afraid that we would have asked the voter who they had voted for. We were allowed to do the MOS stuff but only away from the poll entrance..makes sense to me.

Some of the Networks are doing it.....reporting live from within a polling place.

Our people are inside polling places.. but I don't work in Glendive or Joplin, either.

just went by MSNBC and saw some airhead reporter doing a live shot outside, interviewing kids about who they would vote for.

My station stays outside the polling place.
Just curious whats wrong with asking kids who would they vote for???
