Mondays are so much easier when...

The Cubs win.

Jeff Gordon wins and Jimmie Johnson has a DNF or finishes 30th or worse.

Gordon finishes in the top 5 and Jimmie Johnson gets wrecked.

The Crimson Tide wins.

Auburn loses.

Duke's football team won today. Ditto for UNC.

You don't have MANY good Mondays do you? The Cubs WILL lose tomorrow and Gordon always sucks.

As a Georgia Bulldog, I have to say that Alabama should be rated #1, although I haven't seen Oklahoma play.

I like how Saban'll find something to be pissed about even after a big win. This past Saturday Night, he didn't like the way his team played in the 2nd Half. When he coached LSU to victory in the Bluegrass Miracle, he was too busy seething over having to win in insane fashion over a team he expected to beat more outright.

I have.
they destroyed a pretty good TCU team Saturday, one that came in ranked #1 in the nation in defense.

This weekend was shaping up to be CRAPPY for Badger State fans, with UW just CHOKING against Michigan and blowing what should've been a win in the Big House, and then the Packers dropping like flies and letting Tampa beat 'em...aargh.

But none of it matters, because THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!

First time since 1982.

Bring on Philly!

Well, I guess when you go up 31-0 at half, a second half that you lose 30-10 does look pretty bad. But you're right about seeming like he has to look for a reason to be mad.

Hmmm. Thanks for the insight. I wasn't aware that TCU had such a good defense.

It'll certainly be interesting to see how everything shakes out this year!

Wanna know what's worse than watching our Dawgs lose half a football game? Watching our Dawgs lose half a football game while watching with a Bama grad.

In this case, my brother.

<groan>

Well, we beat 'em 31-10 in the second half. It was Zebras 21, Alabama 10, Dawgs 0 in the first half.

UGh! I would hate to have to watch with a Bama grad. And I agree about the refs. Two of Bama's "touchdowns" were not. The guy was down before the goal line both times. The announcers even mentioned it. They probably would have scored anyway, but you never know.

Perfect sports weekend involves me playing a round of golf.
That hasn't happened in awhile. :(

I second that. The last time I played I had the best 9-hole score I've ever had on the back nine. That was in June and I haven't gotten to play since!

I played 9 a few weeks ago... shot a 44. So I should probably take that and be happy.

I certainly would, considering the 9 I mentioned was a 40, which is my best 9 ever.
