...will appear, in person, at the Democratic Convention tonight.

It should be something to see. I would imagine the reception he'll get will be similar to Bobby Kennedy's reception at the 1964 Democratic Convention.

Pretty sure the females in the audience are expected to simultaneously climax, Manna will pour from heaven, and AIDS will be cured.
Ted, unfortunately, will still have cancer.

Teddy Kennedy murdered Mary Jo Kopechne when he abandoned her in a sinking car which he drove into a pond while drunk as a skunk.
Teddy Kennedy has always been a notorious alcoholic and sexual harasser who loved to make waitress sandwiches with his friend Senator Chris Dodd from Connecticut.
He demands that we all live like cave men in to stop Global Warming while preventing anyone from building windmills where he can see them from his Cape Cod mansion. What a hypocrite.
Whatever became of his wife Joan Kennedy?
Teddy Kennedy probably casts votes and gives speeches in the Senate while drunk as a skunk. Those votes have direct and significant impact on your life.
So you can take your criticism of Rush Limbaugh, a radio talk show host with no power over you and me, for being addicted to drugs, and shove it where the sun don't shine Tippster. Limbaugh doesn't have the power of the Federal Government behind the things he says and does. Kennedy, on the other hand, is always certain to take away more and more of your rights whenever he can, under threat of imprisonment, which makes him much much worse than a radio talk show host who can be turned off whenever you want.
Because your hero is a pathetic miserable murdering drunkard who has done nothing but screw up everything he has ever touched in his life.
He is the perfect example of an illustrious Democrat politician.
Here's to you, Teddy Kennedy!

That was longer than I thought it would take. He must be slipping.

I am not a fan of Ted Kennedy's liberal politics or his libertine lifestyle, but I hope he can make a recovery from this illness. If not, I hope he will be comfortable in whatever time he has left and is able to get his personal and spiritual affairs in order.

His politics, OK, that's fair game. His "lifestyle" is no one's business except his and his family's.

Unless you're a conservative. That's the way it works.
The media/lib lovefest has begun.

Not to me. I couldn't care less about the lifestyle of any public official, Democrat or Republican, liberal or conservative.

What if it leads to someone drowning to death?
