Anyone interested? I've got connections to a ship that is taking a final voyage (how fitting), before it heads to Pensacola to be scrapped.
Tickets would be cheap and we would leave from Mobile, Ala on the 21st of December, 08. Still plenty of single and double cabins available.

Spent my money on a flight to San Jose in September. And next year I'm goin' to Tampa. Sorry, man. :(
But whenever you're in town, feel free to drop in (but gives me a heads up, will ya?). ;)

The cargo hold will include dozens of never-driven Korean War jeeps you can buy surplus for just $50.

Forgot to mention....It's a one way trip. That's why they try to sell you a $50 jeep, so you can get home.

Itinerary error. Instead of Port Charles, we will be going from Mobile, Al to Pensacola, Fla. Sorry, Captain doesn't want to add any more fuel in the tanks, since it's being scrapped. Hey, but it's a cheap trip!

Will there be individual potties, or are we going Wrigley Field style? (sword fights)

Can we buy tickets for other Medialine posters that we'd like to see scrapped?

Thx, 'chick!
But would the ship go anywhere? Seems like it'd travel forever in circles from listing to the left...

Is this one of them there gay cruises?
Not that there is anything wrong with that... I just want to know how they define "Man overboard."

Probably has something to do with the Poop Deck.

You mean there'll be a lot of seamen on the poop deck?

Sounds like a nice idea. I'm confused though -- it's a 100-mile journey between Mobile and Pensacola. Is that the route the ship's taking? That's gotta take like only 10 hours. Why would you need a cabin?
Is there some hook? Like free pot and monkey fights by briefly leaving U.S. waters?
(I'm not criticizing.. some Annual Medialine Gathering would be cool.. give us a chance to learn to be a sniper and pick off the #*&$#(*&$ we don't like.. but I don't get the benefit here to this final voyage).

Mobile is a toilet.
I lived in P'cola at one time.
See where I'm going with this?

ECP, it's really about a 40 minute drive on I-10 between the two cities, hence their own market "Mobile/Pensacola" (mid 60 range last I looked).
The drive on 3 1/2 Mile Bridge is cool, westbound.
Eastbound on I-10, one drives UNDER Mobile Bay and finally meets whats left of the 3 1/2 Mile Bridge to the Eastern Shore.
The word you were looking for was "asshats".

Ya I know. But boats don't takes interstates. I adjusted the Google Maps route to hug the coastline and assumed the ship would travel at 10mph.
