Some of you may see this as a frivolous activity. If so, just move on. Let's not be too predictable in your typical responses either. I can almost guess what some of you are going to say already.

I was watching the NBC Nightly News tonight ... and perhaps I'm a little obsessed with the game Civilization 4 right now. I couldn't help but wonder if I were to put together my own set of Knights of The Round Table, who would they be?

I don't have a complete list of people, that would take a while to compile. But I do have a few contenders. You have to consider that not each knight in your Kingdom needs to have the same attributes, but they have to have attributes that compliment the others. You have to have some with strength, some with wisdom, wit, heart, charm, skill, cunning, etc ...

Who would you include in your Round Table ... and more important why?

So far on my list are:

Brian Cay - the Decathalon Gold Medal winner. After watching his interview tonight I can see he has heart, he definitely has the athletic ability, and he is really very noble. Wanting to bring a good name to his sport, he is a good influence on children interested in Decathalon. He would be the Lancelot of the group.

Michael Phelps - obviously his talent in the water is what I'm interested in. I still believe that Navy SEALS are the bravest men in the world. Michael would represent them.

David Blane - my merlin. A master illusionist, he has the skill and cunning needed to outwit foes.

Bill Gates - to handle the technology side of things. He may not be able to develop new technology, but he sure is successful in leading a team that can!

That's all I have for now. I'm curious ... who would be on your list and why?

This is interesting.
I'd go with:

Steve Jobs, just so your tech guy would have someone to steal from.

Usain Bolt, he'd be my Achilles, if I may mix metaphors.

Kinky Friedman would be my political guy.

I'd end it all with Angelina Jolie because she's REALLY hot. Like, even hotter than most girls I know.

I forgot a magician. I'd pick one of those guys from Mythbusters.

Oh! Good choice on the guy from Mythbusters!

Fine... leave me out of your precious little round table of geeks and jocks.
But what are you going to to when the first war comes... you'll need a few warriors.

Don't call me then.

If you'll read that last line - I said that was all for now. I'm far from finished completing my Camelot.

Besides, without seeing you and talking with you, it makes it difficult to evaluate your true personality. Do you have the heart of a warrior? I think it's more the heart of a teddy bear.

I will take part, if I can fill my entire round table with 19 year old twinks.

Sure ... it's your Kingdom. But first tell me what a "twink" is?
