John Lee Hooker, born near Clarksdale, Mississippi August 22, 1917 would have been 91 today. Raise a glass tonight and say Boom Boom (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EHWujXubNM). This is John Lee in 1966.

If you don't remember him, look at the Blues Brothers movie. John is playing guitar on the city street with all the singing and dancing. He's the singer who was singing "a haw, haw, haw..."

What a great voice! And you got to love this quote about his guitar playing
