RIP Chris Clausen

I'm really bummed by this. Chris was the first voice over talent I worked with as a promo producer. And even though I only communicated with him over an ISDN line, he was a great guy.

ATLANTA (MyFOX Atlanta) -- Chris Clausen was the voice of WAGA's promotions for 15 years. He died Tuesday due to complications from a stroke.

Aw, man. That guy was good.

He had an awesome voice, and could pretty much nail whatever script I sent him.

We used Chris for years refering to him behind the scenes as 'The Voice'. We never sent scripts to somebody named Chirs, always 'The Voice'.

One of the great things about Chris was if you ever needed a VO in pinch - breaking news or whatever. I didn't matter how late it was, he's do it for you and he never complained or gave attitude. Like I said, I never met him face to face, but I feel like I lost a friend.
