Complete Coverage of Missing Caylee Anthony (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/crime/orl-caylee-anthony-missing-stories,0,5343500.storygallery) from the Orlando Sentinel.

I've been following this story since last week .. and I'm still shocked over the fact that the mother waited 31 days before reporting her daughter missing. Here in Orlando it's been the top story every day ... but the police don't have any answers yet. I just listened to the full 13 minute phone call from the mom in jail to her family .. and not once has she given them any information on how to find her daughter. She is angry with her family and shows no emotion over the fact her child is missing.

Here's the latest news from the Sentinel: "If You Had Told Them The Truth (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/crime/orl-caylee-anthony-jail-call-072508,0,3440243.story)" - which links you to the audio from the jail phone call.

I have not been watching the national news this week ... but is anyone else covering the story?

The grandmother has stated that the mom's car smelled of decompostion and a cadaver dog did, also.

Mom killed the little one, whether on purpose or accidentally, but the mom killed her.

Mom killed the little one, whether on purpose or accidentally, but the mom killed her.

"She described her daughter as her best friend, second only to her husband. She couldn't verify where or whether Casey had held a steady job since Caylee's birth. Cindy and George Anthony provided everything for Casey and Caylee, including food, shelter and the car that detectives found abandoned outside an Amscot cash-advance location at Colonial Drive and Goldenrod Road."

I'm going to bet that drugs played a role.

Did you notice that at the end of the call she says Tony hasn't seen Caylee since the beginning of June? And since the child has been gone for about five weeks that gives two weeks that he never saw her. If the child lived with her and it became an issue between them, could she simply have dumped the child with someone?

Could she have been so obsessed with Tony that she would do anything including getting rid of her daughter to keep him? The call sounded kind of like she might be thinking about him more than *I* would given the circumstances.

Wierd case. I think most grandmas on hearing their grandbabies were missing would have pitched a fit and called the police right away. Give them five weeks to find her? Maybe Casey isn't the only one who deserves jail!

Do I sense sarcasm here? All the weirdos and derelicts end up in Florida. And this case just keep getting stranger. The mother is now saying she'll talk to the FBI ... that she won't speak to the local sheriffs because she doesn't trust them. I truly hope they find this little girl alive and well.

My question in all of this - where is the daddy of Caylee?

They have done a number on this Casey Anthony woman and it's likely one she richly deserves. She is a pathological liar, that much we know. Read the sherrifs report on the arrest, OMG she told four or five lies and got caught in each of them. And her mom did call the police when she found out her granddaughter was missing. Casey evidently went on the lam and then showed up back home about five weeks later.

I still think she dumped the kid, maybe sold it, so she could get rid of her and then go out and party. If she did sell the child to someone they will likely not be forthcoming about it. But, hey, you never know. The mom said the car when returned smelled like it had a dead body in it.

The mom said the car when returned smelled like it had a dead body in it.

The mom also retracted this via an explanation of decomposing pizza found in the back of the car. I know that the cadaver dogs were brought in and scented it as well .. but if there truly was food spoiling in the car .. the smell would be horrific. So I can't base my opinion on the case simply because of the grandmothers first reaction to the scent.

I hope I'm called up for jury duty on this one! It would be a fascinating case to watch play out in court. Too bad you can't volunteer for jury duty!

Just based on the fact that you know enough about it to be discussing it here, you probably wouldn't be selected to serve. And if you work in the media, that's another strike against you.

I know the majority of you couldn't care less about this ... but the Sentinel has a really great site now dedicated to the Caylee Anthony story and I thought I'd share it with you guys:

I've not seen a news outlet do something like this before on their web site ... I like it.

What a messed-up family. It might just be me, but the grandmother is acting fishy. Something about this whole saga is just not right. I hope they find that little girl, but with each passing day it makes it less likely she will be found alive.

I doubt the little girl's mother will be appearing on Nancy Grace any time soon (a la Melinda Duckett...)
