Upper management is rumbling all NBC O&O's will be dumped soon- except for NY, Chicago and LA.
What will you do with your GE 401K?

Since I work at, but not for an O&O, I'm curious as to what this rumor might be based on? They did just cut eight positions in their newsroom, with more cuts coming in Production, but there has been nothing floating around about selling the station. NBC has sunk a lot into this facility (just upgraded one of the control-rooms) and it doesn’t seem to make much sense. Sounds more like one of those GE wants to sell NBC rumors - and we all know there's no truth to that according to Jeff Zucker.
Maybe they (NBC) will buy KRON after all.
