Holy crap, what a match! Seems the only real downsides were the rain delays and really, those just seem to add to the drama.

That was one amazing match. Every once in awhile when sport elevates to 'theater like' it truly is a spectacle. Federer vs Nadal stopped me from getting anything done around the crib.. Great stuff...!!

What a duel! Twists and turns galore, and as darkness fell, a new champion.

Simply put, that was fun to watch.

Great match, but they should have delayed the fifth set until today. I hate to think Nadal won because Feds couldn't see the ball because of darkness.
Federer had plenty of chances to win, but in the end, the Spaniard was too much.
God, I wish I had arms like Nadal! His face looks like a rodent, though.

Yeah, but that's to imply that darkness doesn't effect Nadal.

No, I agree, both had to play in those conditions. I just would hate to think that some people would see that as a reason for Federer's loss.

Roger seemed to lose his first serve in the final games. He had 25 aces in the match... but couldn't seem to get his 1st serve in when it really mattered.
He also had a considerable amount of unforced errors when compared to Nadal.
Great tennis and great to see someone new win it.

Do you think Roger Fed showed any signs of fatigue toward the end ? These guy's really moved each other all over the court. And the ease in which they both move is like watching deer on the move.
What sticks out in my mind was the realtive easy forehand that Roger hit into the net at match point. Given the pressure and all I can certainly understand how that ball ended up in the net. But that was a shot Federer typically executes.
