I dont know whats going on or who threw what wrong switch but Im sitting here this morning eating breakfast and watching NBC...and Im getting just a sat feed from NY I guess...but its all the off air stuff from the studio..no commercials, and Im seeing the anchor sitting there chatting with the camera guys and doing taped hits for later. Im recording it incase she says something naughty. I wonder what caused this? It would seem that its JUST the studio feed, she keeps talking to some anchors who I never see. Weird. ...Shes now doing taped segments for other affiliates. If they dont change the router setting, it could get interesting. Could this be a bad setting at the local affiliate level? I hope so, they are my competitor and I take great amusement in their constant screw ups.

Well, it IS a holiday weekend.
The A Teams ... and likely the B and C teams are off ... so you're stuck with the D Team all weekend. Not exactly the sharpest pencils in the box.

I sat and watched the 20 minutes or so that I recorded and the camera caught the anchor picking her nose too. It was obvious her nose was itching and she wanted to do something about it.... and finally did. I may have to up load the clip.

I worked at an NBC affiliate during the first half of the '90's, back then NBC controlled the net feeds that came to the station. If we needed the back-up receiver to pick up a special feed, our Master Control had to call New York or New Jersey to get permission (and Network would have to change the dish, it couldn't be done locally). Once during a NFL football game the net feed began changing transponders on the air; it looked like someone was switching channels on their TV). I suppose it's possible that someone in the local Master Control took the feed Sat instead of the main Sat; but I wouldn't, necessarily, rule out an error on the network level.
