At least they didn't fire him while he was on short term disability. We can only assume that his salary and insurance was paid while he was out. Getting fired still sucks though.

Apparently Smith has something against "sports people". Remember how bad he damaged the local Fox sports department with the "airing" of false allegations of steroid use involving Albert Pujols, just before he took the ND job in Philly?
