I posted this on the open forum as well. Our number three sports guy was killed in a car accident last night. He was a passenger in the car. Always had a way to make us all laugh, even when things were tough and the stress of the job had us by it's stranglehold. Happy go lucky kind of guy. Keep his family in your prayers. Thanks.

It's always tougher in a small market like Lima. We are not just co-workers, but we are all friends outside of work. Closer, more like family. I am sure everyone has been at a TV station like that. It has been tough. We really appreciate all the eamils and phone calls that have been coming in, from people in the business, coaches, athletic directors, parents, and all viewers. Thanks to everyone.

As usual, the drunk survives.

And people wonder why I HATE drunk drivers.

Again, my condolences to the family, friends, and co-workers of both victims.

I hate to hear this news. No one deserves to go out this way. I hope they throw the book at the guy responsible...

Two stations I've worked at were like that. KMST in Monterey and WUPW in Toledo. Just starting in the biz and in your 20's, you develop some good friendships. RIP Don.
