Here we go. If you took every NCAA teams schedule and reversed it. Same results you just say their first game of the year was their last tournament win(their last game was their first game of the year in november) would their RPIs remain the same? I will figure it out if I can find out where the rpi formula is but even better someone else able to answer the question with statistics to prove it. It is my off day after all...

RPI is --> The Index comprises that team's winning percentage (25%), its opponents' winning percentage (50%), and the winning percentage of those opponents' opponents (25%).

Over the course of the "reverse" season, you might have differing results from what it actually was in the "real" season, but my thought is that, in the end - it would be the same.

If that is the formula then yeah it would remain the same at the end of the season. even though through the year it would be different. Thanks so much!
