Oak Hill Capital Partners, the group who is buying the 8 Fox O&O stations has indicated it wants to eliminate the engineers from KTVI Fox 2 in St. Louis.
KTVI has engineers operate the ENG vans and satellite truck while photographers deal with shooting and editing, but now it appears that Oak Hills wants photographers to do it all. I hope this does not happen because it is a great set up as it is and definitely a more secure and safer situation for all involved. Also that would mean layoffs to several very qualified folks and that is never good. These private equity groups are joke and now they may be messing with folks futures.

Small town ideas for big cities. Genius.

Just wait until the backpack journalists are doing their own live shots.

Nobody has tough times with unions anymore. Unions are over.
