What the heck is this forum?
The Blog Feed room acts like an aggregator and automatically fetches blog entries. The blog entry is created as a thread here, and members are free to discuss further by replying, or follow the link to the blog and comment there.
Why?
It doesn't require much work on the forum side, and it may be useful to some people to have a selection of member's blogs all in one place. It can also help generate traffic to the blogs, which is never bad. Blog entries also get indexed by our search engine, so members may find them that way, too.
Can you add my blog?
Sure! The only requirements are 1) you must be a contributing member of the forum (either by # posts, join date, etc), and 2) the blog must be semi-active, and somehow, someway, related to the TV news industry.
NSFW?
NSFW = Not Safe For Work, which means the blog may contain explicit material you might not want popping up on your work computer monitor. Any blog entry that has asterisks in the title prefix has been designated as NSFW.
Finally...
MediaLine is only using the software here to import blog entries which have been written by other users. Just like forum topics created here, we're not responsible for their content. This is a free service being provided to our members. However, we'll still do everything we can to help in case of a problem or issue.
