Hard to believe that, only a few weeks ago, the Ravens barely lost to the Pats by 3 points. Now they lose in OT to the Fins? Wow.

At the same time, while I didn't think the Jets would beat the Pats, I picked them over the Pats in a pick-against-the-spread pool I'm in with my younger brother and his friends. Probably the only one that did. :D

I'm not a Patriots fan, but I hope to God they go undefeated. I am so sick of the '72 Dolphins. Mercury Morris' little rant about "call me when you're on my porch" was uncalled for. Enough is enough. I played HS and College football (OK, Division III but it was still football) and we went undefeated a few times. Yes, the NFL is different, but come on.

I have mixed feelings about the Dolphins getting their first win. It would have been nice to see the Dolphins eat one, just for the above reason. However, the athlete in me never wants to see a team lose all their games.

I was kind of looking forward to the hype of 0-14 vs. 14-0 next week. I wonder if ESPN had to scrap a few pre pro'd things that they had aleady done to pump up the big Pats-Dolphins game.
