As if the burden of divorce weren't bad enough, people with failed marriages can be blamed for global warming, according to a study by Michigan State University.

Yeah, I heard something about that, and then the guys at the radio station brought it up this morning during my weather hit with them. A little far fetched.
...but then, so is global warming. (we dont' have the beating horses emoticon!!)

Hey guys, maybe there is something to this. Divorces usually cause two people to argue a lot causing a lot of hot air to be expelled, thus adding heat to the atmosphere, wha la, global warming, who would have thunk. You know what, everything causes GW, we are doomed. Oh my god, my day is ruined.

Thank goodness divorce isnt an EFFECT of global warming yet! At least not according to the website posted last week.
Can you imagine... Divorce causes global warming causes divorce causes global warming causes divorce!

On the flip side, wouldn't divorces also create economic expansion? I mean, after the divorce the former couple would need to have two of everything. Two houses, two cars, etc. :)

I think it causes economic depression for the male, as he has to to pay for two of everything for the ex! :mad:

It is not the divorce itself that contributes to GW. It is the plethora of divorce lawyers and all that CO2.:)
