POSTING RULES AND GUIDELINES
These forums are intended to provide a place where people can engage in threaded discussions about various topics--hopefully, even LIVELY and sometimes ARGUMENTATIVE discussions! Those are often the best ones!
But we monitor things closely, and if a thread degenerates into name calling, profanity, threats OR ANYTHING ELSE THE MODERATORS FEEL IS INAPPROPRIATE, we are quick to pull the trigger on the "delete" button--with either a single post or an entire thread. And we are not averse to banning offending posters from contributing further to the forums. (Read about the new infraction system here (http://openline.medialine.com/showpost.php?p=314281&postcount=3))
Please let us know immediately if there is a post or a thread you think the moderators should look at. If you need us to check something out, just drop an email to medialine@medialine.com. Those of you who frequent the forums are our greatest tools for keeping them lively, fun, informative and free from problems.
One more note--we don't allow discussions of the person featured on TODAY'S TALENT on our home page. Even if the comments are positive, we remove them. We think that's only fair to the featured individuals. If you want to give them feedback, you can visit their personal page where their email address is displayed.
If you ever want to report an offensive post to the admins and moderators, please use the FLAG/REPORT POST button located underneath the author's avatar and name. The icon looks like this: http://openline.medialine.com/images/kirsch/buttons/infraction.gif (only works for logged in users). It's best not to reply to an offensive message, but let the moderators take care of it instead.
