Hey everyone, I can't run bufkit. Profiles download fine, but when I open the program, it shows "Run-time error '6': overflow"
What's wrong, and how do I fix it?

My guess is that the default profile it's trying to load is corrupt....

I've cleared the data folder and re-downloaded them several times.

Are you sure they're updated profiles? Sometimes those schools like to take time off, ya know...

NOpe, these are coming from NWS in KSGF.

Well then I am stumped! That's always been my problem when it crashes upon running...

I had this problem yesterday and you and I download some of the same profiles. (Not sure if it is connected...)
I thought it was on my end. I uninstalled BUFKIT and reinstalled it. It works fine now.

I've seen this happen as well, and sometimes it seemed like was related to the profile other times it wasn't. I'm not a BUFKIT expert, but I know someone who knows a lot about it at ISU. I'll fire him an e-mail to see what he says.

Did you take Ed's suggestion?
Can it display profiles from other sources if you wipe out your files first?

I found this also happens to me. It began when we switched to a 64 bit version of Windows. I have to restart it several times for it to finally remain stable.

I agree that it sounds very much like whatever default profile it is trying to load is causing the problem. Even if you empty out your data files, it may be looking for that default which isn't even there. Try to get a look at what it is trying to look at as soon as it opens and try downloading that profile.
