I've never found anyone so anal about how we do things! She called us out for using the word "fair" last year because it implies the wrong kind of weather. Tonight I get this:
I was analyzing your snowfall map graphic on noticed that your blue isoline indicating 4 - 8" was embedded within the green 3 - 6" isoline. Correct one of the two since you have overlapping values. Something like 3 - 6" and then 6 to X" or 2 - 4" and then 4 - 8".
Regards,
What do I possibly say to this?

Just say thanks for the input and thanks for watching. Hey, at least she's watching you guys regularly.
Besides, I don't think she's looking for a detailed, technical explanation as to why you did what you did. I think a quick acknowledgment will suffice and move on. Be prepared for more! :P

I'd say, "Thank you for caring so much about our station...and bite me!" Well, I'd want to anyway.

Okay first of all - Is this from Teach0542 or something like that... ? If this fat cow has reared her ugly head again... Then let me write your response :D
If not... then simply point out that in weather particularly in snowfall forecatsing, you are highlighting what towns and villages may see 3"-6" and what towns in that larger area may see a few more inches than that possibly as high as 8". That is the reason for the extra little bullseye.

Use "FINE" instead of fair like they do in Australia....Then maybe she won't call back....

We have a guy who will Email our entire weather group (which includes all the bosses) any time he discovers the tiniest typo or mistake in our web weather discussion.
He has even been know to Email us while he was vacationing in other countries, just to tell us of our typos.
Uhh... thanks, but go jump off a cliff.

I thought she was dead. Maybe she got hit by an oversized watering can??

Jet, great idea! However, I've learned that email is a helluva lot better than listening to rants over the phone. That's why I NEVER, ever, answer a phone call from a viewer. I provide my email address and that is all. Several years ago, an irate viewer called me and let me have it over a punted forecast. I was apologetic, but that did not silence the a**hole, so he showed up at our studios that evening. The guard caught him and discovered a cache of guns in the guy's back seat. No more phone calls!

Build an obviously canned response and send it to him religiously each and everytime the wacko emails you. Eventually he/she will get the messege that you aint listening and stop...or maybe not, she could hunt you down and shave "kick me" into the back of your head.

Ummm, Chief, this seems to be a bit too "real." There isn't a bit of "I survived that shaving wench last year," is there?
