What happened to Rick De Reyes??

I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to Rick De Reyes. He was the weekend meteorologist at KOB TV in Albuquerque, NM, but I haven't seen him in months.

at the end of his contract in June of this year.

I don't think it was something he was expecting to have to do though. From what I've heard from him it wasn't renewed.

True...it wasn't renewed, but he mentioned that "it was not a surprise to him".
