Why is it some photographers...mostly photographers...feel the need to have a "trademark"? Some have the trademark hawaiian shirt or hat or some stupid gesture or saying?...what happened to being recognized for working hard and getting the best shots?

The folks I know who have trademark "looks" do all tend to be creative types, though. I think it's just another way of expressing themselves while saying at the same time, "Look at me."

I knew a photographer whose trademark move was to accidentally shoot himself in glass reflections and mirrors over and over. :D
