i've been talking with a knoxville news director about a morning anchor job but i'm not sure what to expect salary-wise? anyone work in the marker or have an answer.

My old station there two years ago was willing to pay mid-50s to a female anchor they were trying to get. But she had a good amount of experience. This was for a morning position. It will depend on the station. Expect 40s to low 50s, maybe less if it's the CBS station. Just my $.02

I was offered a morning anchor job in Knoxville 2 years ago...the salary was 55k. I passed and now have a main gig in a smaller market but with more money...go figure. Good Luck !
