Word is.... they made a hire from the Fox in St Louis. Got a relative newby, who had only been in St Louis 11 months after a stint in Tennessee.

Corrina Sullivan joined FOX 2 as a weekend anchor/reporter in April 2005. Corrina co-anchors FOX 2 News on Saturday and Sunday nights. You can also catch her dynamic, in-depth reports weekdays on FOX 2 News.
Corrina is an award-winning investigative journalist who came to St. Louis from Knoxville, Tennessee where she worked as a weekend anchor/reporter at WVLT-TV. Corrina also worked at CMN 13 Saint Cloud, Minnesota. Her title included main anchor/reporter and even weather talent – brrh!

Corrina’s television career began as an associate producer at KTVK-TV in Phoenix while enrolled at Arizona State University. She graduated cum laude from ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and the Institution of Political Journalism at Georgetown University.

Corrina hails from Baltimore, Maryland. It was there she quickly acquired a love for not only the water and boating, but the tasty blue crab inhabiting the area’s native waters. Corrina attended high school in Roswell, Georgia where her parents live. Despite moving around the country, Corrina feels right at home here in St. Louis and has quickly immersed herself in community activities.

Corrina would like to thank the many people who have encouraged her in life. She says she feels truly honored and blessed to provide St. Louis and the surrounding communities with the day’s news.

During her career she has been honored with Hearst and Society of Professional Journalist Awards for investigative journalism. Corrina is a proud member of SPJ, Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE), and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Corrina Sullivan is hardly a newby, she's talented and well respected. She's been in St. Louis for more than a year and half, spent a few years as an anchor in midsize market and few more in a smaller market.

Orlando is lucky to have her. It's a great move for her and well deserved. I can't imagine you'd find anyone with a bad word to say about her, which is not an easy accomplishment in this industry.

Maybe it's me.No, it's not. God forbid someone in our business say something nice about one of our colleagues.

Corrina was a competitor in the William Randolph Hearst Foundation Student Journalism Competition held each year in San Francisco.

I was competing in radio in 2001 when she was competing in television. As I recall, she had recently graduated, and it was clear she could write her own ticket in this business. Yes, she has the looks. But those looks are combined with the smarts and skills it takes to be a good reporter.

She may be a young one, but she's a good one.

And no, I'm not her.

As someone who worked with her in Knoxville- Corrina Collins/Sullivan is a joy to work with. She's a great person, and very talented. Maybe her ability is the reason for her promotion. And she is the last person that would post about herself. Best of luck to her in Orlando.

I don't know her, but if she's that good, why did she go to Orlando? Money, I guess?

(I know, stupid question. It's late.)

Surprised no one's typed those three special one-syllable words yet...
