Search the board for "wkrn" or "vj" or "videojournalist." You'll read all you ever wanted to know about WKRN and Young Broadcasting, and probably a few things you didn't want to know. We've been fighting about that place for years now.

VJs are only part of the problem. High turnover and weird management add to the problem. A psycho news director about three years ago cleaned house just for fun and in many ways, the place has never recovered from that.

Many news directors like to "put their mark" on the stations at which they work by cleaning house and installing "their people." Most times, it turns out similar to a dog "putting his mark" on a fire hydrant.
