How low is the pay compared to the cost of living? Is it possible to be single, work in tv and live there?

You could always have a carpentary business on the side for free lodging. I was at one of those huge homes on the Outer Banks and the work crew stayed the night at the dude's mansion across the street from where I stayed. I saw them wathcing the FF and downing beers. They spent the night. Hilarious! What the homeowners do not know.

Endless road construction on I-95. Weirdos at every other intersection (Turn green! Turn green! Arrgh!). Corrupt city commission.
