Nightly News in HD

Nightly News is now in HD. They've re-designed their lower 3rd (I assume to work with NBC's decision to re-align its bug screen left) - but the new design leaves me with a big question.

Why didn't NBC News take this opportunity to build Brian a new set & redesign all of the graphics for the show? They've had the same look since 1999... of course, if it ain't broke, don't fix it... but still.

And keeping a graphics look the same for THAT long is like leaving the same jug of milk in the fridge for 8 years...after a while, it's gets stale.

Should've used the opportunity to straighten Brian's nose. It's interesting in HD.
