I will be relocating to Canada in August.
Does anyone know --- What are the main avenues (web sites, etc.) when it comes to searching for tv/newsroom work in Canada? I'm currently employed on-air as a general assignment reporter. To be more specific, I'm moving to London, Ontario.

The 3 networks in Canada are Global, CTV and CBC. Nearly all of the local stations are owned by the networks.
Jobs at Global (http://www.canwestmediaworks.com/careers/careerList.asp)

Jobs at CTV (http://tinyurl.com/3973qz)

Jobs at CBC (http://cbc.radio-canada.ca/jobs/current.shtml)

Other listings for smaller stations can be found here (http://www.mediajobsearchcanada.com/)

Your post history shows this is the third time in 22 months you have requested info about a market where you are relocating. (to Nebraska, New York and now Canada, all since July '05)
Maybe its time to plant some roots.

VERY hard to get a job in Canada. I've come close to a few. Check with a Canadian immigration laywer to see what you'll need.

Usually, the hiring organization has to prove to the Canadian government that there are no qualified Canadians to do the job. Then, they can hire an outsider.

But there are, reportedly, ways around that. I almost nailed a sweet gig in Toronto, but forget how.
