Looking some advice of sorts...Ten year local affiliate sportscaster...Currently in AZ...Looking to make a jump into full time play by play...Major network or regional network...I have three years experience in the play by play broadcast chair...It was part of my last deal in TX...Gave it up to come to AZ to try something fresh...Any thought or direction on how transition from affiliate tv to a full time play by play broadcaster...Outside of agents what is my best bet??? Just getting thoughts on what I might do outside of the current box...Thanks a bunch!!!

There's an NBC Sports guy named Dan Hicks who did just that - went from being a local sports guy in Tucson to working for the net. Try getting in touch with him. You never know.
