Starting to grow tired of the SC tease formula,

"Greg Oden or Kevin Durant. Who will be the best at the next level? The answer coming up."

Obviously we all know you can't and won't have the answer. What that tease does tell me is to get ready for four minutes of crap-specualtion from whatever talking heads are around to fog a mirror that day. Lazy. Bob Ley and Outside the Lines are the only exception.

Top 10 is in the crapper as well...

I'm sorry but unless the dunk is spectacular, it should never make a top 10...The ones they show are the standard wide open, drive the lane slam that happen about 15 times in every game.

Seriously, take the intern off of that assignment and have true producers take the time and go through the games and look for plays that deserve to be there! graemlins/face_banghead.gif

The tease they say a lot that make me want to pull my hair out "We'll tell you why (insert team here) will win (or lose) on (particular day)."

I stopped watching SportsCenter a long time ago. They offer me zero, zilch, squadoosh. I watch ESPN for the games, not the highlights.

Highlights are so 1990s. The only exception is wrap-up shows that are sport-specific, i.e. Baseball Tonight, Sunday Night Countdown, etc. But SportsCenter? Next.

And I agree with the previous posts. Get some originality in the writing. And bring back Keith & Dan, Kilborne and the rest of the "old" gang.

Ditto, What the ?, ditto. I can't wait for Baseball Tonight to start up again. My favorite show on their schedule.

GO TWINS!!

Ditto on Baseball Tonight. Nothing better than Gammons' cell phone ringing on-air with a call from a GM announcing a trade at the deadline. Go Yankees!

Their "What If?" stories are getting absurd. Let's just blatantly speculate and pretend our opinion has any validity. This is bad TV, folks.

teases that ask a question they can't answer are so lame.
"Will the Bears be able to slow down Peyton Manning?"

um, the game's 3 days away.... you have no idea.
neither does anyone else.

Sportscenter---truly unwatchable.

I'm glad I get ESPNews. I get my highlights, my scores, and none of the Sports Center bull****.

PTI and the actual sports are about the only things worth watching on ESPN anymore.

Yeah! In action late last night, Sonics vs. Utah, John Stockton says, "Hey, look at me - I'm a little teapot, I'll run right up your dress!" But then, Olden Polynice says, "I'm not gonna pay a lot for this muffler!" But then Karl Malone says, "Sweet Sassy Molassey! You are gonna pay a lot! And the cost is gonna be prohibitive!"

I miss the old Dan Patrick & Keith Olbermann SportsCenters.

At this point, ESPN may as well have Lee Corso and Dick Vitale handle the highlights.

Dick: And he goes right up the middle, baby!!! SENSATIONAL!!!

Lee: Not so fast my fr-

Dick: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still like getting :45 worth of highlites, or even more! That's why I like watching FSN Final Score, even when Danielle Seargent is anchoring. The show is just highlites.. no expert analysis/talking heads. I miss lots of highlites and stat boards... like old school Sportscenter. Even ESPN News can be BS... 1 highlight from a game? FSN Final Score till Sportscenter reverts to its old ways.

Personally I thought it was funny as hell to see someone make fun of the stupidity Sportscenter has become.

Also, as far as the FSN Final score with Danielle Sargent... I just hope she drops another "What the F was that!!!" with mic open like she did on ESPNews. That's why kids shouldn't go from local to national in 6 months.
